Proudly upgrading lives by bringing people together

We are a small recruitment agency, based in an office within walking distance from Amsterdam Central Station with a view of Silicon Island and the Maritime Museum.

Since 2008, we have been having fun working in IT recruitment. Although we take our work seriously, we like to have fun. It’s hard to produce good results when people aren’t having fun. Why so serious?

While we have the ambition to grow, we believe it is important that people feel at home in an organisation and they can achieve their full potential.

Building sustainable relationships with clients is significant to us. On the candidates’ side, it is our mission to  provide careers, not just jobs.

Meet our team

Jan Andries Stam

Managing Director/ Owner

After finishing his Economics studies, his first job was in recruitment.
In 2011, he acquired HUMAN CAPiTAL with the vision to build sustainable relationships between candidates and clients. He likes to play computer games, watch streaming services, play squash, and have celebration drinks with candidates. In between, he is also a hands-on IT recruiter. His motto: “Do or do not. There is no try.”

Helping people. Saving gorillas.

Ishimwe was born on July 16, 2015. His name means “praise” or “gratitude.” In 2018 he became a big brother to Suraurwanda (whose name means “visit Rwanda”). In March 2021, HUMAN CAPiTAL proudly adopted Ishimwe symbolically. Go to to see what you can do for gorillas in Rwanda.
