Proudly upgrading lives by bringing people together

We are a small recruitment agency, based in an office within walking distance from Amsterdam Central Station with a view of Silicon Island and the Maritime Museum.

Since 2008, we have been having fun working in IT recruitment. Although we take our work seriously, we like to have fun. It’s hard to produce good results when people aren’t having fun. Why so serious?

While we have the ambition to grow, we believe it is important that people feel at home in an organisation and they can achieve their full potential.

Building sustainable relationships with clients is significant to us. On the candidates’ side, it is our mission to  provide careers, not just jobs.

Meet our team

Jan Andries Stam

Managing Director/ Owner

After finishing his Economics studies, his first job was in recruitment.
In 2011, he acquired HUMAN CAPiTAL with the vision to build sustainable relationships between candidates and clients. He likes to play computer games, watch streaming services, play squash, and have celebration drinks with candidates. In between, he is also a hands-on IT recruiter. His motto: “Do or do not. There is no try.”

Desti Timpico

Talent Acquisition Manager

Responsible for the human aspect within HUMAN CAPiTAL: Started as a resourcer, then a recruitment specialist and now is the Talent Acquisition Manager. She loves playing Animal Crossing and watching sitcoms. Her passion is to save animals and, while being on holidays, she often helps out animal shelters.

Ioana Badea

Recruitment Specialist

Born and raised in Romania, Ioana came to the Netherlands four years ago to study psychology. After finishing her bachelor’s at Tilburg University, she turned her passion for helping people into a job and started her career at Human Capital. Meeting and getting the opportunity to help different people from all over the world is what Ioana loves most about her job.
Ioana loves traveling and hopes that one day she will have visited every continent. Along with hearing about your dream career, she is always excited to hear your traveling stories. If you want to keep Ioana on the phone longer, start talking about her favourite show, Friends. As Joey says: “You can’t just give up. Is that what a dinosaur would do?”

Judit Kiss

Recruitment Specialist

Judit has always had a passion for languages. She came to the Netherlands to build a new life, learn the Dutch language and culture, and work with people. At HUMAN CAPiTAL, Judit found her perfect job where she can combine all; learning Dutch while helping people find a career.
Judit is fond of animals, especially her dog, Manka, whom she enjoys training. Outside of work, you will find her working out, horse riding, swimming, or watching Netflix. Her favourite series is Prison Break and when she is not binge-watching, Judit is taking power naps.

Helping people. Saving gorillas.

Ishimwe was born on July 16, 2015. His name means “praise” or “gratitude.” In 2018 he became a big brother to Suraurwanda (whose name means “visit Rwanda”). In March 2021, HUMAN CAPiTAL proudly adopted Ishimwe symbolically. Go to to see what you can do for gorillas in Rwanda.
