Job Description
As a Field Service Engineer at TECS with a specialization in Gas Turbines, you will be part of a highly skilled team working on the installation, repair, and maintenance of Woodward control systems, with a specific focus on gas turbine systems. You will be responsible for performing detailed troubleshooting, servicing, and replacing control panels and related equipment in industrial environments such as refineries, offshore platforms, and power stations.
This role requires a deep understanding of gas turbine operations and the technology that controls them. You will travel frequently to client sites, both within the Benelux region and internationally, providing critical services that ensure turbines operate efficiently and reliably.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and Commissioning: Install, commission, and replace control panels and systems for gas turbines, ensuring proper integration and functionality.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on gas turbine control systems, identifying and resolving technical issues efficiently.
- System Modernization: Work on the replacement and upgrading of legacy turbine control systems, integrating new technology to improve performance and reliability.
- Client Interaction: Serve as the main point of contact with clients, explaining system issues, providing updates, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Travel: Be willing to travel extensively across the Benelux, Italy, the UK, and other international locations as needed.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: €3,500 – €5,500 gross per month, depending on expertise and experience.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology- especially oil and Gas, or related disciplines.
- Gas turbine experience is required, particularly with control systems.
- Willingness to obtain VCA-VOL certification is mandatory, and completion of HUET training (Nogepa 0.5) is required for offshore work.
- Strong understanding of control technologies for industrial turbines, preferably Woodward systems.
- Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
- Valid Driver's License (B) and a willingness to travel frequently.
- Ability to work on standby duty once every eight weeks for emergency repairs and maintenance.
