Are you a proactive and experienced accountant with strong knowledge of Dutch VAT and financial reporting? Turner Engine Control Solutions BV (TECS) is looking for a hands-on Accountant/Controller to support the financial operations of its Dutch entity alongside the Head of Finance.

TECS specializes in delivering reliable engineering services and upgrade/retrofit solutions for turbomachinery, reciprocating engines, and power management. With offices in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, and the Middle East, TECS serves clients across various sectors, including marine, oil and gas, power generation, and process industries.
Your responsibilities:
• Prepare monthly management accounts, group reports, and cashflow forecasts.
• Draft annual statutory accounts and assist with internal audits.
• Manage Dutch tax compliance (including VAT and Intrastat declarations).
• Process payroll entries and related journal postings.
• Support financial projects and contribute to process improvements.
• Act as the local point of contact for internal departments and external advisors.
What we are looking for:
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similar field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an accountant/controller in the Netherlands.
• Proven experience with Dutch VAT and financial regulations.
• Assertive, proactive, and independent work style.
• Strong command of English; Dutch is a plus.
